Acoustic Night invites leading singer songwriters to come to Loughborough to perform alongside students from the university. Check out the best new talent in the campus and across the country!

The line-up:

Luke Bates - artist name ‘Lemon Boy’. A Warwickshire-based singer songwriter who, including uploading original tracks to Soundcloud, has already acquired a couple years of playing experience.

Aisha Aldris - a powerhouse of a voice. Aisha is returning to the acoustic night events after a good performance last year.

George Salthouse - an Essex-based singer and guitarist. Relatively new to live performances, George will be turning 19 on the night.

Steve Malik - Midlands-based singer/songwriter playing a mixture of originals and covers in his own style. Currently recording new material behind the scenes - He has previously supported the likes of Pete Doherty, The Specials and The Enemy to name a few.

John Victor - Grew up in Aba, Nigeria, and plays the bass guitar and piano. He fuses elements of traditional Igbo highlife with jazz and a hint of reggae to create a rich mix of sound.

Shawn Li - a singer/songwriter relatively new to the live performance area. Shawn will be playing two songs, in differing languages: English and Chinese.

Other acts still to be added, including a four-piece fusion covers band!
