LSU Arts/Creative Societies

LSU have a wide range of arts societies to get involved with: 

Cook ‘n’ Bake
This is a society for food lovers. Cook and bake student friendly dishes in a fun environment, attend demonstrations, workshops and much more more. You will even receive exclusive member discounts to local cafes and restaurants in town.

FEVER is Loughborough University's very own circus and juggling society. They practice a wide variety of skills including juggling, poi, hoop, staff spinning, unicycling and even fire performance.

Shakespeare Society
This theatre society is devoted to the works of William Shakespeare. They often put on productions of his work which include; A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, Twelfth Night and many more!

Stage Society
This thriving society is open to anyone interested in any aspect of theatre, regardless of past experience. This society covers all aspect from dance, singing and acting.

Landscaping and Gardening Society

The Landscaping and Gardening Society is the only society to have its own land on campus. Learn how to grow food and have fun in the great outdoors.

Loughborough Literature Society
The Loughborough Literature Society is open to anyone who is passionate about literature in all its forms. They run book club activities, creative writing workshops and yearly projects (e.g. creation of a comic book, literary magazine, poetry anthology, etc.) as well as guest talks about the book industry.

Develop your creative flare and photo taking skills through this society, you don't need to be a pro to join Photosoc!

The Swordsmanship Society
Swordsmanship is a science as well as an art form. Through study and training, they apply the principles of combat through the blade.
