Q&A with writer and actor Kieran Knowles

Acclaimed writer and actor Kieran Knowles will talk about his career trajectory since graduating from Loughborough, with an opportunity for the audience to ask questions. Kieran trained at Loughborough University and LAMDA and completed the Royal Court Young Writers Programme in 2008. He is a co-artistic director of From Ground Up Theatre Company and has recently started a project for unrepresented actors called (RE)PRESENTED.

This free event is open to all but will be of particular interest to English, Creative Writing and Drama students. No need to book, just turn up on the day.

About Kieran Knowles

Kieran graduated from the Drama degree course at Loughborough in 2007 and went straight on to train for another three years at LAMDA. He also completed the Royal Court Young Writers Programme in 2008.

Acting credits include: Operation Crucible (Finborough, Sheffield Crucible, UK Tour and Brits off Broadway festival), Toast (UK tour and New York), The Winters Tale, Taming of the Shrew (Royal Shakespeare Company), The Witches’ Promise (Birmingham REP), Waiting for Lefty (Theatre Royal Haymarket).

Writing credits: Operation Crucible* (Finborough, Sheffield Crucible, UK Tour and New York also a BBC Radio play), 31 Hours* (Bunker Theatre), Chicken Soup. (Sheffield Crucible) and Comet (The Pleasance).

*nominated for most promising playwright Off West End Awards.
