Firing the Generator

Social architects STEALTH.unlimited, Ana Džokić and Marc Neelen, were keen to use their Market Town commission to join in an involved and unique process of consultation surrounding one of Loughborough's most iconic buildings, known as 'The Generator'.

Firing the Generator was designed to bring Loughborough's new cultural, creative and entrepreneurial hub: 'The Generator Loughborough (CIC)' to life. Through a series of interactive and participatory stages this project has tested the buildings futures form and function, a public weekend, held in September 2016, created a real glimpse to the possibility (and reality) of such a venture.

For more information about the repurposing of The Generator building, see The Generator Website.
